Former minister Eric Wiebes (Economic Affairs) surprised a number of fellow ministers in the previous cabinet with his proposal to reduce gas production in Groningen to zero. He regrets that afterwards, he said today during an interrogation by the parliamentary committee of inquiry for gas extraction.
