Two horses died on Thursday night in an accident on the A50 near Oss. According to a road inspector from Rijkswaterstaat, two truck drivers were involved.
The accident happened on the road from Arnhem to Eindhoven. A truck had to be recovered after the accident.
Lane closed
The truck drivers were not injured in the accident.
A lane was closed to remove the bodies of the deceased horses and to clean the road surface. The lane closure led to a ten kilometer traffic jam around a quarter to seven on Friday morning. The ANWB warns of a delay of more than half an hour from the Ewijk junction.
