Apple could present these products

In recent years, Apple has often hosted an October event to introduce a range of new products. Devices such as the iPad and Apple Macs were often the focus of the October events – this product lineup could also have its own event this year.

iPad range

Observers expect the new iPad Pro to be presented to the public in October. Speculations about possible equipment for the new Apple tablets vary widely – while it is generally expected that the new devices will be equipped with M2 processors. However, it is unclear whether the new generation of iPads will be missing the wireless charging feature, and expectations also differ about a possible fourth additional pin connection.

It also remains unclear whether the Lightning port and the home button will become completely obsolete for the new 10th generation iPads.

MacBooks

The Mac family could also grow in October 2022. Observers are expecting a new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro in particular. The new devices are also to be equipped with the M2 processor.

In addition, new Mac minis could find their way into the Apple shop: they could be equipped with M2 and M2 Pro processors. In addition, new colors and a new design are within the realm of possibility for the top model.

AppleTV

In addition to expanding the iPad and iMac model family, Apple could have another product up its sleeve: a new Apple TV box with an A14 chip, which is also equipped with more RAM. Again, this is more speculation.

Apple expert does not expect October event

Apple expert Mark Gurman from Bloomberg largely agrees with the presentation of possible new Apple products, but does not expect Apple to present them at a major event. The products would not be enough to justify a major event, Gurman said. Instead of a launch event, he expects Apple to announce and launch the new devices with a series of press releases.

Apple has not yet sent out any invitations to a possible October event – in the past, however, these were only sent out about a week before the planned product presentation. If Apple invites you to a keynote lite, it is expected to take place on a Tuesday in October.
