FC Bayern is apparently taking tough action after the Corona outbreak

After Joshua Kimmich and Thomas Müller tested positive for the corona virus on Saturday, there is alarm again at FC Bayern. In order to get the problem under control, the bosses have apparently tightened the rules.

As the “Bild” writes, the club management around CEO Oliver Kahn and sports director Hasan Salihamidzic asked the professionals to avoid the Oktoberfest from now on.

The largest folk festival in the world will be held on the Theresienwiese until October 3rd.

Last week, the people of Munich held their obligatory Oktoberfest visit. Three days later, Manuel Neuer and Leon Goretzka tested positive for the corona virus in the national team.

Further visits from the Bayern stars are no longer desired. However, the Oktoberfest request is not the only measure with which the Bavarians want to get the infection process under control.

According to “Bild”, the club imposed a ban on autographs and selfies for the public training session on Saturday morning. Players should distance themselves from their own attachments to avoid unnecessary contact.

Müller and Kimmich are probably missing from FC Bayern at BVB

In addition, the basic hygienic rules are now being applied consistently again. For example, the Bayern dressing room was regularly aired around the most recent training session. The club recently lifted the mask requirement inside the Allianz Arena.

After the illnesses of Müller and Kimmich, there is no risk in Munich that there will be further cases. After all, trend-setting weeks are ahead in the Bundesliga and Champions League.

FC Bayern meets Viktoria Pilsen in the premier class on Tuesday, and the top game against BVB is on Saturday.

A use of Müller and Kimmich against Dortmund is extremely questionable. However, both players are symptom-free and are in domestic isolation.
