Zuzenhausen (dpa) – TSG 1899 Hoffenheim has loaned its permanent reserve player Mijat Gacinovic to the Greek club Panathinaikos Athens until the end of the current season. This was announced by the Bundesliga soccer club.
In addition, striker Sargis Adamyan (28) will be loaned out to Belgian champions FC Brugge, who is coached by former Hoffenheim coach Alfred Schreuder, until the summer of this year.
The 26-year-old attacking midfielder Gacinovic from Serbia came in 2020 in exchange for Steven Zuber from Eintracht Frankfurt, but was never able to assert himself with the Kraichgauers. His contract with TSG runs until June 30, 2024. The Armenian international Adamyan is still under contract with TSG until June 30, 2023.
In addition, Hoffenheim parted ways with Dutchman Joshua Brenet, who has not played a role in the team for a long time. The 27-year-old right-back is moving to FC Twente Enschede. Brenet came to the Kraichgau from PSV Eindhoven in 2018, but only played 15 Bundesliga games.
