Van crashes into tree – driver dies in wreck

Fatal accident on the L30 between Krummensee and Altlandsberg (Märkisch-Oderland) on Sunday evening.

Motorists found a van on the L30, completely destroyed at the front, which had crashed into a massive roadside tree. The driver is said to have been unresponsive at the time.

The rescue workers who arrived first are said to have tried to revive the man, but this was unsuccessful. He was so badly injured that he succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
