The sustainable outdoor outfitter Vaude is now also represented with its own outlet store in Switzerland. The new store in the Landquart Fashion Outlet in the canton of Graubünden was opened on August 23, the company announced on Thursday.
There, Vaude is now offering “last year’s and sample collections at attractive prices” on a sales area of 185 square meters. According to the company, the focus of the range is “on outdoor and cycling clothing, supplemented by children’s clothing, shoes, backpacks, bags and accessories”.
Jonas Kurtz, Retail Manager & Head of Visual Merchandising at Vaude, underlined the importance of the new opening: “An outlet store in Switzerland is another step forward for Vaude,” he explained in a statement. “The opening shows that Vaude is continuing to grow in Switzerland and that the brand presence is increasing.”
In the Landquart Fashion Outlet, a total of over 160 designer, sports, outdoor and lifestyle brands offer their reduced-price products. Center Director Andy Ernst was delighted with the latest addition: “With Vaude, the outlet has been enriched with a well-known and established brand. The successful, conscientious work philosophy, the high credibility and trust in the brand, and the popularity of the outdoor space among our customers are the perfect combination to be welcomed to the outlet and to make the visitors happy,” he said in a statement .
