DSV Quartet
For the dress rehearsal for the Olympic Games, the German Ski Association has nominated only four jumpers for the local World Cup station. With Katharina Althaus, Selina Freitag, Pauline Hessler and Juliane Seyfarth, exactly the four athletes form the team who will then also fly the flight to Beijing. “We’re really looking forward to Willingen – a home World Cup. A great place. I used to be there myself as an active player – sensational events,” said national coach Maximilian Mechler.

Review of the lecture
The World Cup weekend in Willingen started yesterday with the mixed competition, where two men and two women were able to test the Mühlenkopfschanze under competitive conditions. The German quartet with Katharina Althaus, Markus Eisenbichler, Juliane Seyfarth and Karl Geiger narrowly missed out on the podium in fourth place. On the other hand, the winning team from Slovenia, which included Ema Klinec, Cene Prevc, Ursa Bogatay and Anze Lanisek, gained self-confidence.
