Yle’s favorite series The song of my life returned to the screen on Saturday with new episodes. The guests of the first autumn episode were a political researcher Mika Aaltolahockey influencer Kalervo KummolaActors Essi Hellen and Kiti Kokkonen and the spear legend Antti Ruuskanen.
The idea of the program is to hear the songs performed by the live band one at a time. Each of the guests guesses who has chosen that particular song for the program as their life song.
The last of the evening’s performances was of Kashmir and Jore Marjaranna interpretation of Simon and Garfunkel’s song The Boxer.

When the presenter Katja Ståhl asks Kiti Kokkonen’s guess, whose life song the song in question was, the actress has the answer ready.
– I just got this intuition that this is the song of our next president, Kokkonen answers, referring to Mika Aaltola, who is sitting opposite.
Both the audience and the guests burst out laughing at Kokkonen’s comment. Aaltola raises her hand in front of her face and laughs modestly.
Ståhl, on the other hand, says that he does not understand Kokkonen’s reference.
– What, Sanna Marini or? He’s not here, the presenter jokes.
When the raucous applause slowly begins to die down, Kokkonen is left to reflect on his words.
– Can I say that? Kokkonen thinks.
– I don’t know what people know about these days, Ståhl answers.
After this, Kokkonen continues by explaining his conclusion.

When it’s Aaltola’s turn to guess, she responds to a surprising comment.
– Thank you Kiti for giving me such trust, impossible tasks.
– I nominated you, Kokkonen laughs.
– You’re driving me into a hole that I might not be able to get out of, says Aaltola.

Kokkonen’s throw also garnered comments on Twitter.
– Did Mika Aaltola really offer herself as a presidential candidate on the Elämäni biisi broadcast? Before this, Kiti Kokkonen said that Aaltola would be the next president.
