Streetwear Label Daily Paper Designs Ajax Kit With Adidas

Sporting goods group Adidas and the Dutch streetwear label Daily Paper have teamed up with the football club Ajax. It is the Amsterdam club’s third kit and pays homage to ‘the golden Amsterdam football generation’, as it was called on Wednesday.

The predominantly ‘gold’ jersey features ten imprints of Amsterdam’s ten most famous street football pitches. These pitches are where the attacking style that Ajax is known for originated, the statement said. A black and red vertical stripe runs across the shirt and the logos of the different brands can be seen on the shirt.

The shirt will be the second shirt for European matches and can also be used in Premier League and cup matches. The retail version of the jersey also features various details in the neck area. However, due to the rules in soccer, this version will not be worn by the soccer team itself. The version worn by the football team will also not feature the Daily Paper branding.

The products will be available online from Wednesday at Ajax, in the fan shops, on the Adidas and Daily Paper websites, at the Daily Paper flagship store in Amsterdam and at selected retailers worldwide.
