Disney+ makes the full range of the Walt Disney Company available to its users. But not only for children there is a lot of content available, there is also a lot to stream for adults. In addition to the National Geographic innovations, the popular Star Wars universe and the superheroes from Marvel are also represented on Disney+. In addition, since February 2021 there has been an offer more geared towards adults called “Star”.
The program of the streaming platform grows every month. As a rule, the new products appear on a weekly basis, usually on Friday, just in time for the weekend. Here is the list of all the new series and movies coming to Disney+ in September 2022.
New movies on Disney+ in September
In August, Disney+ brought significantly fewer new films and documentaries to the program than usual. In September and on the occasion of Disney Day, however, there is significantly more to see on the streaming service this month. In addition to a large number of short films worth seeing, Marvel fans can look forward to the fourth “Thor” film. Also, Chris Hemsworth can be seen in a remarkable documentary about sharks. The live-action adaptation of “Pinocchio” and “Hocus Pocus 2” will also start on September 8th, 29 years after the first part.
Thor: Love and Tunder – Coming September 8th
In his fourth solo film, the god of thunder Thor (Chris Hemsworth) has to deal with the galactic mass murderer Gorr. He gets support from old allies – and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) in a new superhero form.

Pinocchio – from September 8th
Disney’s next live-action adaptation is in the starting blocks for September and is coming directly to Disney+. Master Giuseppe (Tom Hanks) wants nothing more than a son. Fate – and a little magic – bring him together with the puppet Pinocchio who has come to life. But the boy with the nose that catches him lying has a lot to learn about being human.
Hocus Pocus 2 – Coming September 30th
The sequel to the 1993 fantasy film hits Disney+ in late September. As in the first part, carelessness summons the Sanderson sisters to Halloween. The three leads – Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy – return to their roles as witches once again.

New series on Disney+ in September
While Disney + subscribers still had to be content with a fairly economical offer in August, it looks much more extensive again in September. Among other things, the new Star Wars series “Andor” is launched. National Geographic also delivers some exciting documentaries such as “Europe from above” or “Super/Natural”. A new season of The Kardashians is also in the starting blocks on Disney+.

Snowdrop – from August 31st
Disney+ is now also releasing (South) Korean series as originals. “Snowdrop” tells the story of a graduate student who falls in love with a young freshman. A relationship develops against the background of the democracy movement of the 1980s.

Modern Family – from September 14th
The mockumentary shows the unconventional and at times chaotic life of a blended family. The series negotiates classic gender roles and many topics related to growing up, living together, job – and of course family.
Andor – from September 21st
The new Star Wars series on Disney+ is all about Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), who we already know from “Rogue One”. During the Galactic Civil War, the first-class pilot works as a spy for the rebels.
The Kardashians – starting September 22nd
The Kardashian family is finally returning to Disney+ in September for a second season of their new reality show, The Kardashians. It is primarily about the sisters Kim, Khloé, Kylie and Co.
The Old Man – from September 30th
Ex-CIA agent Dan Chase (Jeff Bridges) is on the run after accidentally killing a burglar. Due to various entanglements, however, he suddenly finds himself confronted with old enemies and supposed friends.
