Good news for Ajax. The Amsterdam club has broken open Jurriën Timber’s contract and extended it until the summer of 2025. This ensures that the defender will stay in Amsterdam and not opt for a foreign adventure.
Jurriën Timber is in his fourth season in Ajax’s main squad. Last season in particular, he went through a stormy development and the 21-year-old international is now indispensable in the heart of the Amsterdam defence. Several foreign clubs have recently been interested in Timber’s arts.
Timber will play with Ajax in Rotterdam against Sparta this weekend. The duel at the Castle starts at 2.30 pm.
