Youthful AZ records a simple victory over NAC Breda in a closed practice match

AZ won a closed practice match 3-0 against NAC Breda this afternoon. The team of trainer Pascal Jansen played three times for half an hour against the number ten of the first division. Within fifteen minutes the gap with the visitors was made, after which the Alkmaarders no longer ran into problems.

AZ, which took office without Jesper Karlsson, Pantelis Hatzidiakos, Tijjani Reijnders, but saw Bruno Martins Indi return, was lord and master in the opening phase. Vangelis Pavlidis opened the scoring. The Greek striker could easily tap in from the rebound that came back from goalkeeper Roy Kortsmit.

AZ had it on their hips and quickly made it 2-0 thanks to a nice long shot from Hakon Evjen. the Norwegian cut inside and saw his mop ball hit the ropes. AZ then loosened the reins a bit, so that the visitors got into the game better. However, there were no great opportunities for goalkeeper Peter Vindahl’s goal.

After the break, AZ had little to fear for NAC, which played against itself. Ten minutes after the break, Albert Gudmundsson was allowed to score a penalty and coolly pushed the ball into the corner: 3-0.

In the final phase of the match, Jansen made room to let some talents play. Among other things Ernest Poku, who extended his contract today, Zico Buurmeester, Mo Taabouni, Thijs Oosting , Lewis Schouten and Peer Koopmeiners came in. The rejuvenated AZ was pushed back slightly by NAC, but simply remained upright. AZ itself managed to create little danger, so it remained 3-0.
