PSV fan Tiana has already forgotten Benítez’s blunder: ‘It was great!’

Tiana experienced her first European away match from PSV in Glasgow on Tuesday. Early Wednesday morning she has been on the bus for about seven hours and Eindhoven is not yet in sight. Yet she only needs one word to describe the experience: “Amazing!” Enjoyed, she has. Even the blunder of keeper Walter Benítez, which left PSV 2-1 behind, couldn’t change that.

After all, Armando Obispo ensured with his goal (2-2) that Tiana still got on the bus with a good feeling. In her words, the equalizer had a ‘softening’ effect.

She is sure that the people of Eindhoven will finish it at home against Rangers FC next week. She doesn’t doubt that for a moment, as it turns out when presenter Koen Wijn calls her on Wednesday morning in the program WAKKER! on Omroep Brabant radio.

“Don’t want to miss out on anything”

Tiana is happy to say that, if all goes well, she won’t be back in Eindhoven until around seven on Wednesday evening. Because she wouldn’t have missed the experience in Glasgow ‘for the world’.

She does hope that things will go smoothly in Dover soon. If the bus has to wait there for four or even five hours, they won’t even make it to seven hours in Eindhoven. And that while they had already boarded an hour after the game on Tuesday evening.

Fortunately, Tiana is having a great time on the long way home: she keeps her followers informed of the progress on Twitter. As she already did on Tuesday on race day. This made her first European away game ‘even more beautiful and unforgettable’.

What made the Scottish adventure all the more special for Tiana, is the fact that fellow supporter Frank Lammers ‘was allowed to take a picture with her’.
