The Austrian national soccer player Alessandro Schöpf is continuing his career with Vancouver Whitecaps FC from the North American professional league MLS.
Schöpf, who was relegated from the Bundesliga with Arminia Bielefeld last season, has signed a two-year contract with the Canadians.
The midfielder’s contract with East Westphalia had expired.
Schöpf had previously played for Schalke 04 and 1. FC Nürnberg in the Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga.
