Poker for de Ligt with consequences for Lewandowski?

At Bayern Munich everything revolves around Robert Lewandowski and Matthijs de Ligt. While the world footballer wants to leave the German record champions as soon as possible, the Dutch central defender should strengthen the Munich defense. But for such a transfer, the Bundesliga club needs the necessary change – and this is where Lewandowski could come into play.

Head coach Julian Nagelsmann is currently preparing the FC Bayern team for the upcoming season. But around Säbener Straße, only the staff is currently being discussed.

Robert Lewandowski is now back in training but would like to switch to FC Barcelona immediately. The Munich managers around sports director Hasan Salihamidzic are meanwhile working on a commitment from Matthijs de Ligt. So far, FC Bayern has not been able to agree on a deal with Juventus Turin.

According to consistent media reports, the first Munich offer included a transfer fee of 60 million euros plus bonus payments. However, the Italian record champions declined with thanks.

Does FC Bayern have to sell Lewandowski?

Noisy “calciomercato.com” FC Bayern will make a second offer for de Ligt. The portal does not give any specific details. In order to be able to transfer the 22-year-old, FC Bayern is dependent on selling Lewandowski, they say.

FC Barcelona is considered the goal scorer’s dream. Bayern would reportedly prefer to sell Lewandowski to Paris Saint-Germain or Chelsea.

The 33-year-old returned to training on Thursday. But Lewandowski was too late again. On July 18th, FC Bayern is leaving for the USA. It is still completely unclear whether a solution will be found for Lewandowski and de Ligt by then.
