The return to the cinema after 8 years of hiatus
Cameron Diaz will return to theaters with Jamie Foxx with comedy Back in action. They have passed eight years since the ex of Charlie’s Angels he stopped acting. And it’s been two since she claimed she had found peace with his farewell to the cinema.

These days, in an interview with Hillary Kerr for the podcast Second Life, the actress went back to her early years. And she remembered when, a few weeks before she was chosen for The Mask with Jim Carrey, it was a drug courier.
A year in Paris with no money, before The Mask
In the 1994 Cameron Diaz was a model with financial difficulties, who moved from Hollywood to Paris to look for work in the fashion world. “I started working as a catalog model and I had enough money to move to Paris and make an appointment, which i shared with a girl who is still one of my best friends. However, I have been there for a whole year and I didn’t work a day“, has explained.
And here the shock confession. “I didn’t have the money to survive. Then I got a job but, really, I think I was a courier transporting drugs to Morocco, I swear to God“, has continued.

Cameron Diaz was tricked into smuggling illegal substances
How did it happen? “They gave me a locked suitcase with my stage “costumes” inside, they said, and I had to go and do a fashion job …Diaz said, but once she landed she was stopped by a customs officer at a North African airport.
There she realized she had been tricked into unknowingly smuggling an illegal shipment. “I was probably handling illegal substances,” she concluded.
Shortly after this episode, Cameron Diaz’s career as an actress kicked off. In fact, at just 21, the star auditioned for The Mask, pushed by her agent. “You’re crazy, I can’t act … It’s not my jobHe repeated to him.
