Rap artist Nipsey Hussle’s shooter was found guilty of murder

Rap artist Nipsey Hussle33, died in 2019 of bullets fired outside a clothing store in Los Angeles.

Now the jury has found that Hussle did the shooting by Eric R. Holder guilty of murder, reports The New York Times.

The jury made its decision on Wednesday, July 6.

According to the newspaper, the prosecutors described Holder in the trial as a bitter acquaintance. It was stated in court that Hussle, real name Ermias Asghedomand Holder were part of the same street gang.

Hussle and Holder had met each other in the parking lot, where Holder had felt disrespected.

Hussleen was hit by several bullets and taken from the scene to the hospital. However, nothing could be done anymore.

In court, both Holder’s attorney and several witnesses testified that Holder fired the bullets.

However, Holder’s legal team considered the murder charge excessive. Holder’s attorney by Aaron Jansen according to him, the act was not premeditated, and the lawyer demanded that the sentence be reduced to manslaughter.

The jury found Holder guilty of murder after finding that he had made a conscious decision to kill Hussle. Holder had returned to his car, loaded the gun and walked back to the parking lot to shoot Hussle.

Holder was also found guilty of two counts of attempted murder after injuring two eyewitnesses, as well as felon in possession of a firearm and two counts of armed violence.

Holder faces a life sentence. The verdict will be given in September.

The attorney plans to ask the judge to consider Holder’s mental health history. Holder was diagnosed with schizophrenia two years ago.

Just moments before his death, Hussle posted a cryptic message on Twitter.

– It is a blessing to have strong enemies, the rapper wrote.

Fans remembered Hussle at a memorial service held at the rapper’s death site.

The reverent occasion soon turned into chaos as people were startled by sudden, loud noises reminiscent of gunfire. Several were injured, and some of the injured were stuck in the middle of the crowd.
