Fiorentina are bringing back their former youth player Pierluigi Gollini. The 27-year-old goalkeeper, who is under contract with Atalanta Bergamo until 2024, will remain with Viola at least for the upcoming season. Fiorentina then says it has a purchase option.
Gollini was already in the club’s academy between 2010 and 2012 but left Florence early in Manchester United’s academy. With his moves to Aston Villa and Atalanta, Gollini generated transfer income of almost 10 million euros, but both stations soon followed suit. Last season, the national team reserve player featured in ten competitive games at Tottenham between the posts, but was not used in the Premier League for Spurs.
Florence announced the commitment of ex-Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic on Friday. Three years after his €63 million transfer to Real Madrid, the Serb can join Fiorentina on a free transfer. The Spaniards are said to be taking full salary from Fiorentina for the first two years of the contract, in exchange for a 50 per cent resale share for the next four seasons.
Transfer fee and market value, including free transfers, are taken into account in this gallery. The higher number is decisive for the ranking. (as of July 8, 2022)
