According to media reports, Bundesliga club 1. FC Köln have signed attacking player Sargis Adamyan from league competitor TSG Hoffenheim.

The Armenian is said to join his new team at the training camp in Donaueschingen on Tuesday. The clubs haven’t officially confirmed the transfer yet.

The Armenian national player would be the sixth new signing under the new FC sports director Christian Keller. Adamyan is contractually bound to TSG until 2023, according to the media, Cologne should pay almost one million euros in installments.

The 29-year-old can be used flexibly as a centre-forward and winger. In the second half of last season, the 29-year-old was loaned to the Belgian first division side FC Bruges, for whom he scored six goals in 16 competitive games.

After winning the championship, Bruges gave up the purchase option, which is why the offensive player returned to the Kraichgau. There, the new TSG coach Andre Breitenreiter apparently does not plan with the Armenian.
