TuS N-Lübbecke parted ways with coach Emir Kurtagic after relegation from the Bundesliga.
As the East Westphalians announced on Monday, the decision was “the result of an intensive and long-lasting analysis” of the season. The association intends to make a statement “in due course” about the successor plan.
The decision was “anything but easy,” said managing director Torsten Appel: “However, we are required to look to the future and create clarity for the new tasks.”
Kurtagic took over the club for the 2019/20 season and led it to the Bundesliga the following season. Despite a solid first half of the season, Lübbecke, who have lost 17 league games in a row in the meantime, will play second-rate again next season.
