The job was completed a day later than planned. The TT artwork for the station in Assen is finished. It was revealed this afternoon.
Anyone who walked past the entrance of the central station in Assen last week cannot have missed it. Since last Monday, the German artist Aziz Elgart has been working there with chalk on the 3D work. The artwork measures 15 by 8 meters and shows us the last TT winner Fabio Quartararo. Aziz’s artwork remains clearly visible on the paving stones for five months.
The intention is that every year around the TT, more and more 3D works are made in Assen. For this purpose, the capital of Drenthe wants to build a city link with the German Wilhemshaven. One of the largest street art events in Europe is held there every August.
