Second place confidence boost for the rest of the World Championship long track
BUDAPEST – Arno Kamminga came up short on Sunday for gold in the 100-meter breaststroke during the World Championship long track in Budapest. Still, he stepped out of the water with a big smile. Rightly so. A silver medal in his first final at a world championship is an achievement that the Dutchman can justifiably be proud of. Especially given the circumstances.
