Sofia Raffaeli, two medals in gymnastics at the European Championships

Historical feat for Sofia Raffaeli, star of Italian rhythmics: in the same morning the blue gymnast won the European title in the hoop and clubs and the silver on the ball. Before Raffaeli no Italian had ever won an individual podium at the European Championships. Today at the Tel Aviv Expo in Israel, during the final day of the 38th edition of the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships.

Two golds

Sofia won her first gold in the circle, a tool in which she already boasts a world champion bronze. The bearer of the Fiamme Oro, trained by Julieta Cantaluppi at the Fabriano Gymnastics, with 36 clear points preceded the Israeli Daria Atamanov (34.900), yesterday winner of the All Around, and the Bulgarian Boryana Kaleyn (33.900).
