First day of competitions and first medal for Italy at the Budapest 2022 Swimming World Championships. At the Duna Arena, the Azzurri Alessandro Miressi, Thomas Ceccon, Lorenzo Zazzeri and Manuel Frigo finish the 4×100 freestyle relay in 3’10 “95, winning the bronze. In front of them only the United States, gold in 3’09” 34, and Australia, silver in 3’10 “80. Ceccon also celebrates another Italian record: the driver from Vicenza further improves the 50 butterfly record, lowering the 22” 88 in the morning to 22 “79.
