In autumn he made several appearances at Hertha BSC and played nine Bundesliga games for the old lady between September and November. Under the new head coach, however, winger Dennis Jastrzembski has recently been completely left out. Now he is about to leave Berlin.
As from a report by “transfermarkt.de“, the 21-year-old will probably leave the capital club, which is threatened with relegation, during the current transfer period.
The German Pole came from Hertha’s own youth academy and made his first steps as a professional soccer player at SC Paderborn and at Waldhof Mannheim. In Berlin he was not able to assert himself in the long term and was only in the starting line-up in one game this season.
According to the media report, Jastrzembski is said to have agreed to a move to the Polish Ekstraklasa and will play for Slask Wroclaw in the future.
Hertha players probably with several offers from Poland
According to the source, champions Legia Warsaw and cup winner Rakow Czestochowa from the home country of his parents also tried to get the left winger. Ultimately, however, Slask coach Jacek Magiera is said to have been the decisive argument for Jastrzembski, who already coached him in the Polish youth national team.
Dennis Jastrzembski would be the third Hertha player to leave the club in the current winter transfer phase, after Krzysztof Piatek (towards AC Fiorentina) and Deyovaisio Zeefuik (towards Blackburn Rovers). Other stars are said to be on a long hit list.
The left foot had an ongoing contract in Berlin until the end of the season. Until recently, nothing had become known about the amount of a possible transfer fee.
