The local police can, if necessary, ask for the speed limits to be adjusted in order to be able to flash motorcyclists. That is what Flemish Minister of Mobility Lydia Peeters (Open VLD) said in the Mobility Committee of the Flemish Parliament. Recently it appeared that the majority of the section checks on our Flemish roads cannot fine motorcyclists because they only register the number plate at the front, while motor vehicles are at the back.
