M.artin and Mogli they met in 2017 on a sunny street in Morocco. She was two months old, she was thin, frail and battered and without him she would never get away with it, he was not even 30 years old and dreamed of a nomadic life riding his Honda Africa Twin. Nothing compatible with owning a “pet”.
Martin and Mogli, traveling companions
They have become traveling companions, around the world, and have not stopped yet. Over 50 thousand kilometers of road ground, from Slovenia to the United Arab Emirates. In recent months they have resumed travel, after a break due to a pandemic, in May they were in Iran and one day ago in Armenia.
If traveling is not always easy, given the shortage of pet-friendly restaurants and hotels in many countries around the world, the affection of those who meet this strange couple on the street helps them to move forward.
The strange globetrotting couple
The travel set-up has now been run in: Mogli remains seated inside a backpack that Martin Klauka keeps the handlebars between him and the luggage rack, which he closes to protect her from the cold and for safety reasons, especially when they go fast. For her part, the kitten, Princess, as Martin calls her, is very special if, fas a child, she tolerates the leash without making a fuss. And the kilometers of road, and life without routine but, really, adventure.
