It all started on Shakespearelaan in Blerick where the driver of the car received a stop sign from the police, according to broadcaster Venlo† But the motorist decided to flee to Hout-Blerick. The local broadcaster writes that the car ran over a container in a driveway on Holleweg. Then the Audi shot through the house.
The house was damaged. The driver, a 22-year-old man from Born, was arrested. He suffered minor injuries, according to Omroep Venlo, but a ride to the hospital was not necessary. The driver’s license was recovered on the spot.
