Belgian national coach Roberto Martínez thinks he will no longer have Romelu Lukaku in the coming international matches. The 29-year-old striker of Chelsea fell out in the first half in the first half meeting with the Netherlands in the Nations League on Friday after a duel with Nathan Aké.
“It doesn’t look good,” said Martínez, who saw his team lose 4-1 in Brussels. “In 48 hours we will perform a scan, but I doubt he will play in this international period. He has an ankle injury.”
Belgium will play a home game against Poland on Wednesday, followed by away games against Wales (June 11) and again Poland (June 14).
