Limburg star restaurants
Nine restaurants in Limburg currently have one Michelin star: the Maastricht businesses Beluga Loves You, Tout à Fait, Rantrée, De Leuf in Ubachsberg, Da Vinci in Maasbracht, ONE in Roermond, Marrees in Weert, Valuas in Venlo and Brienen aan de Maas. in Well.
Two Limburg restaurants have two stars: Brut172 in Reijmerstok and Sabero in Roermond. The maximum of three stars has not yet been awarded by Michelin in our province.

Big contenders
In the TV program L1mburg Centraal, Jo Cortenraedt, editor-in-chief of Chapeau Magazine, talks about this year’s new contenders. According to Cortenraedt, there are six restaurants in the province that could get their (first) star. These are Damianz in Roermond, Julemont and Atelier in Gulpen and three in Maastricht: Château Neercanne, Studio and Au coins des bons enfants.
Limburg therefore seems to be doing quite well on a culinary level: “We certainly don’t have to be ashamed of eleven star restaurants and I hope that at least one and perhaps two more places will also be awarded. But that will certainly not be the case at all. six happen.”
