Music weekend Pesse starts again: ‘It’s always a party’

Thousands of visitors expect the Music Weekend Pesse in the coming days. “We are finally allowed again”, organizer Jack Reinders translates the feelings of many festival goers. “It’s a party we know. We started small in a potato shed and it has grown into a festival of this size.” That barn party is now a festival with about 7,000 visitors a day.

The pasture at Pesse remained empty for a while. Festivals could not continue due to the corona measures. This year, the organization only knew in February that the festival could be organized again. That was later than desired, but did not cause any problems for the organization.

“We have had a permanent group of ‘helpers’ for years, as we call our volunteers. We are very happy with that. We do this with three people, but also forty volunteers around it who know exactly what to do. party, already during the build-up.”
