Robert Lewandowski wants to leave FC Bayern early this summer. However, the German record champion has so far stood in the way. In a certain constellation, the Munich transfer veto could allegedly be lifted.
According to “Sky”, Lewandowski was probably suggested at Bayern that he could leave the club if Sasa Kalajdzic and Sadio Mané came to Säbener Straße.
The two attackers are currently being traded around FC Bayern as hot candidates for a possible Lewandowski successor. Kalajdzic’s advisor was in Munich for talks last week. VfB Stuttgart is apparently demanding around 20 to 25 million euros for its center forward.
Mané would be even more expensive. The 30-year-old could probably leave Liverpool for less than 50 million euros. A transfer to FC Bayern is “a serious option” for the Senegalese.
Even in the event of a Mané cancellation, a Lewandowski sale should not be completely ruled out. Should this scenario occur, FC Bayern would allegedly look for another attacker in addition to Kalajdzic.
According to “Sky”, Lewandowski’s whereabouts at Bayern Munich are not set in stone. The 33-year-old wants to join FC Barcelona. Another club is therefore out of the question.
Hoeneß expects Lewandowski to stay
In recent weeks, however, those responsible at FC Bayern have repeatedly put a stop to a transfer.
“I don’t currently know anyone at Bayern Munich who would release Robert from his contract prematurely,” said Honorary President Uli Hoeneß RTL/ntv interview to the debate about the world footballer who is willing to change.
