Arrests after pickpocketing Police forces arrested two suspected pickpockets in Friedrichshain last night. According to the current state of knowledge, a 20-year-old was walking around 2.20 a.m. on Warschauer Straße and was prevented from continuing in the Max-Koch-Passage there by two young men. While one is said to have danced at him, the other pressed him against the wall of the building. His sunglasses were stolen from a back pocket. Police officers in civilian clothes observed the events and arrested the two alleged perpetrators. They still had their sunglasses with them so that they could be handed back to the 20-year-old. The detainees, aged 21 and 25, were transferred to a specialist police department at the State Criminal Police Office, which took over further investigations.
