British comedian Lorna Watsonilla was at one time a side role in one episode of Father Brown and his herd. Watson was seen in 2013 as a nun named Boniface.
Its comic sister Boniface was not heard or overly reminiscent of the character as an iconic creation. That’s why Watson was stunned when the character suddenly and completely unexpectedly returned to his life.
– I was involved in Father Brown’s first production season ten years ago. And now, a decade later, I got a strange contact. “We’re making a series around this character,” Watson recalls at a remote press conference.
– It’s crazy! he happily updates himself on how things changed in an instant.

Last summer, Watson filmed Father Brown’s sister series in the picturesque Cotswolds. At the same time, he made a time travel to the 1960s, where the warm-hearted crime drama takes place. Sister Boniface Mysteries will appear today in Britbox, which has recently started operations in Finland.
Boniface still makes wine, just like Father Brown once did. He is still also sharp-intelligent and somewhat cheeky. For Watson, his presentation has been a dream come true.
– Sister Boniface is a woman ahead of her time and always the smartest person in the room, Watson praises.
– And in the war he was a code breaker! the actor eagerly recounts the past of his fictional character.

During the opening session, it turns out that Boniface was as good as a spy that MI5 would have wanted to hire him. However, the sister decided otherwise and became a nun in the rural village of Great Slaughter. The local police force is particularly pleased about this. Boniface is practically their coroner. A new police officer, Felix Livingstone from Bermuda (Jerry Iwu) has difficulty understanding the pattern.
Livingstone intends to make a mere quick visit to the Great Slaughter, but the opposite is true. Britbox
