In 2022, the authorities of Moscow and Russian Railways will open 10 suburban stations at the MCD
As part of the development of the Moscow Central Diameters in 2022, the authorities and Russian Railways will spend ₽170 billion and open ten stations. Most of them will appear on the MCD-4 line, which, like MCD-3, is planned to be launched in 2023-2024.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Russian Railways CEO Oleg Belozerov signed a schedule for the commissioning of new infrastructure at the central transport hub (CTU) for 2022.
This happened during the opening after reconstruction of the Matveevskaya station of the Kiev direction of the Moscow railway. The station will become part of the Moscow Central Diameter-4 (MCD-4) “Kievsko-Gorkovsky”.
In total, ten suburban stations will be opened at the MCD in 2022: seven after reconstruction and three new ones, Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, told RBC.
The federal government, the authorities of Moscow and Russian Railways, according to him, will increase funding for the infrastructure of the Central Technical University next year by 89%, to 170 billion rubles. The capital will account for about 40% of investments, about 30% each – for the federal center and the state monopoly. “The infrastructure construction program for the DHU in 2022 is huge and fully funded. 170 billion rubles are provided for it, against 90 billion in 2019 and 100 billion in 2020, ”Liksutov said.
Of 170 billion rubles. Russian Railways funds will amount to 138.5 billion (more than 81%), specifies a representative of the state monopoly. “Almost all investments will be directed to the development of the radial directions of the junction and the main railway lines in the center of Moscow, connected with the MCD projects,” he says.
