Vtmnts, a brand of the Swiss fashion house Vetements, will present its first catwalk show during Paris Men’s Fashion Week in January. It will be the second collection from Vtmnts after the SS22 collection was presented digitally in July.
The French fashion association Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) has published the provisional Fashion Week calendar for the autumn / winter 22 season. The men’s fashion week, at which the Copenhagen-based outerwear brand Rains also celebrates its debut, takes place from January 18th to 23rd.
Guram Gvasalia is managing director of both Vetements brands. It was also announced in the middle of the month that he was also taking on the role of Creative Director. Originally Gvasalia had kept a low profile on Vetements’ secret venture, but now he said, “Vtmnts is an all-gender brand deeply rooted in traditional men’s fashion. The idea of a traditional logo is erased and replaced by the barcode – a characteristic element of Vtmnts that can only be recognized by those who know it. The aim of the brand is to redefine traditional luxury for the next generation ”.
The catwalk show will take place on January 21st at 7:30 p.m. The location and format have not yet been announced.
