Dortmund (dpa) – Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund will have to do without midfielder Emre Can for at least the next two games.
The 28-year-old suffered a muscle injury in the adductor area in the 5-1 home game against SC Freiburg. The club announced on Sunday. On Tuesday (8.45 p.m.) BVB will be visiting second division leaders FC St. Pauli in the DFB Cup, and on Saturday (3.30 p.m.) they will face TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.
Can was already thrown back by muscular problems in the first half of the season. In total, the national player only made 15 appearances in 28 competitive games this season.
