The 46-year-old agreed with his employer Borussia Dortmund that he would also look after the Black Stars at the World Cup from November 21st to December 18th. “I got permission from Dortmund”, said Addo in a podcast of the “Hamburger Abendblatt”.
The new BVB sports director Sebastian Kehl, with whom Addo played together in his active career with Borussia, wanted him “Don’t waste this chance.
