Rutronik also dominates the 2nd training session

The Rutronik Racing team was unbeatable at the start of the ADAC GT Masters in Oschersleben in the second free practice session on Friday. At the wheel of the #27 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, Kim-Luis Schramm set the fastest lap of 1:23.315 minutes in temperatures of almost 15 degrees and under a cloudy sky, thereby ensuring another success for his team.

His driver colleague Dennis Marschall had already won the first practice session in the morning and set the best time of the day with 1:22.549 minutes.

The Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo with starting number 14 from the Emil Frey Racing team took second place in the second free practice session. The driver duo Konsta Lappalainen and Mick Wishofer missed the lead with a razor-thin gap of just 0.017 seconds.

Third place went to Jonathan Aberdein and Raffaele Marciello from Mann-Filter Team Landgraf in the #48 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.

Fourth place went to Emil Frey Racing with the driver duo Jack Aitken and Albert Costa Balboa in the Lamborghini with starting number 63. The #20 Schubert Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 with Jesse Krohn and Nicky Catsburg took fifth place.

Kim-Luis Schramm says: “First place in both training sessions – we didn’t expect that we’d be that strong. Our package fits the track very well and we’re super happy with the first day. We hope to continue the momentum tomorrow in take the qualifying and be there on the first or second row.”
