The excitement continued in the FIFA 2026 World Cup with the Germany-Ivory Coast match. The two teams, which won their first match in Group E, faced each other at BMO Field in Toronto. Ivory Coast managed to shake the net with Franck Yannick Kessie in the 30th minute and they closed the first half of the match ahead 1-0. In the second half, Germany took the lead 2-1 with Deniz Undav’s goals (68′, 90+4′). No goals were scored in the remaining part of the match and the Panzers increased their score to 6 and advanced to the last 32 rounds.
Germany will face Ecuador in the last match of the group stage. Ivory Coast’s opponent will be Curaçao.

In Germany, Galatasaray’s star player Leroy Sane stayed on the field for 60 minutes. In Ivory Coast, another Galatasaray star Wilfried Singo remained on the field for 81 minutes, while Beşiktaş’s Emmanuel Agbadou, Trabzonspor’s Christ Oulai and ÇAYKUR Rizespor’s Yahia Fofana remained on the field for the entire match.
Galatasaray’s Wilfried Singo could not continue the match after his injury in the 81st minute. Singo was replaced by Guela Doue for the remainder of the match.
