Marthe developed the choreography, Wim was responsible for the choice of music. “We started from the participants themselves and not from an existing choreography that they had to fit in,” says Marthe. The partners and buddies also play an important role on stage. For Johan and Mia, participating is primarily a positive experience. “Mia likes to dance. As soon as she hears music, she starts moving,” says Johan. “I’m not really a dancer myself, but I grew along with the story and am happy that I can participate.” Mia herself keeps it simple: “I think it’s great to be there.”
