The collision happened around 1:30 PM on the Wadden Sea, near Texel. Rescue boats from Oudeschild and Den Helder, a Coast Guard aircraft and a police helicopter were urgently deployed.
Both vessels were able to continue their journey under their own power. The sailing yacht will set course for Den Helder. It is still unclear how the collision could have happened.
