The deal between Ajax and Ziggo started on January 1, 2015. Until 2015, insurance company Aegon was the shirt sponsor and before that ABN-Amro was on the shirt.
Finals
Since Ziggo has been on the shirt, the club has achieved several successes, such as the final of the Europa League in 2017 and the semi-final of the Champions League in 2019.

‘Successful collaboration
Robin Kroes of VodafoneZiggo says that the company will now focus more on ‘brand and partnership initiatives that go beyond football’. Kroes looks back on a successful collaboration with Ajax. “We are grateful for what has been achieved and look forward to ending the final season in a beautiful and fitting way.”
