“It was surreal”: British couple on pleasure yacht came under fire by Russian warship in Channel

A Russian warship fired warning shots near a British pleasure yacht in the Channel on Tuesday. A retired British couple was on board the yacht, who later called the experience “surreal”. According to Moscow, the ship came “dangerously close”, but the British strongly deny this. “We were definitely not on a collision course.”
