Two soldiers from 13 Light Brigade from Oirschot were injured on Tuesday during an exercise near Münster in Germany. This is reported by the Royal Military Police.

A total of four soldiers were injured when army vehicles collided. The injured soldiers come from 13 Light Brigade from Oirschot and 43 Mechanized Brigade from Havelte. They were taken to hospital, but their injuries were not life-threatening.

The accident occurred with a Boxer armored vehicle and a Fennek reconnaissance wheeled vehicle. The Royal Military Police is investigating how the collision could have happened.

A major military exercise by the Royal Netherlands Army is underway in Germany, in which Dutch and German units are participating.

According to a spokesperson for the Royal Military Police, the exercise will continue as normal. This will last until the beginning of July.
