Gunther used to be known as an old-school wrestler who had size and looks to share with others. He liked his old appearance.
– I never felt uncomfortable or anything like that. My wrestling idols were butcher-looking heavyweights from America, Gunther says.
He wanted to look the same.
– They were all barrel-chested and a little pot-bellied, so to speak.
But when the biggest show wrestling company in the world put hynttyyt together with streaming giant Netflix, Gunther decided to change his look.
– With Netflix, the viewing experience is so different and much wider. I thought that [kehon muuttaminen] would be necessary, says Gunther.
So he overhauled his diet, resulting in one of WWE’s most talked about transformations. Gunther lost almost 30 kilos.
