The National Women’s Volleyball Team will face Belgium on June 17 in the first match of the Ankara stage of the 2026 FIVB Nations League (VNL). The crescent-star team, which will play its second stage matches at Ankara Sports Hall, will face Belgium at 19.30. Both teams have two wins and losses each.
Türkiye won the last 5 official matches against Belgium. The National Team beat Belgium 3-1 in the FIVB Nations League played in 2022. The crescent-star team suffered its last defeat against its opponent with a score of 3-1 in the VNL match in 2019.
The national team will also compete against France, Germany and China in the second stage. The Ankara stage squad of the national team, under the management of head coach Daniele Santarelli, includes the following names:
