The era of Turkish Head Coach Ergin Ataman in Panathinaikos Basketball Team has ended. Ataman, who took office in 2023 and is also the head coach of the National Men’s Basketball Team, led his team to the Euroleague championship in 2024 and the Greek League championship once. Ataman won the Greek Cup twice during this period.
The green-whites, under the management of Ergin Ataman, could not participate in the Final Four held in Athens this season and lost the championship in the Greek League to their arch-rival Olympiacos.
