The Crescent-Stars won the match in Canada’s capital, Ottawa, 3-2 with sets of 21-25, 25-17, 23-25, 25-14 and 8-15.
National Men’s Volleyball Team lost 3-1 to the USA in the first match of the 2026 VNL first stage, and defeated France 3-0 in the second match. In the third match, the national team lost 3-0 to Italy, the number one in the world rankings and the winner of the last two world championships.
The national team, which collected 5 points in the first stage of the VNL, ranked 11th.
The National Men’s Volleyball Team will face China in the first match of the second stage of the 2026 FIVB Nations League, which will be held in Gliwice, Poland, on Wednesday, June 24, at 14.00 CET.
